Soon after her return from a business trip to Hong Kong, Beth Emhoff dies from what is a flu or some other type of infection. Her young son dies a few days later. Her husband Mitch however seems immune. Thus begins the spread of a deadly infection. been done loads of times before, but this is strangely riveting and you feel right in there with the infected folk…
It’s taken me ages to watch this film… partly because of the below average feedback I’ve received from just about everyone. Yet again I’m reminded to form my own opinion whenever necessary. I really enjoyed “Contagion”. It was simple, to the point and raised some interesting questions… once again our relationship to our planet and most importantly our food sources. Ignorance will be the downfall of our species. I also really enjoyed the raw emotion on display from Matt Damon, he actually had me tearing up there for a bit. Cool film!
