So I’m going to paint you a picture because to review this film otherwise would be impossible… an artist, lets call him Matthew, poos in a jar. The world commends Matthew for his contribution to the “art” world and because it’s completely subjective everybody just agrees to disagree. A select few break it down, analyze Matthew’s influences and motives and label it a work of art. At the end of the day however…. it always was and always will be POO IN JAR! Utter garbage! In fact if you make it through this entire film (and can somehow prove it) Red Sofa will credit your next film!
Dear Critic, Thank you for your esteemed and educated option which might seem an insightful and though provoking to someone who has little or no understanding of the influence of a JAR OF POO to the artwork, the underlying social commentary, private vs public exhibition, questioning what is perverse and what can be exploited. as well as the basic understanding of the role of the artist in today’s society, as commentators on society, taboo and what we deem to be art. How miraculous for a discipline to constantly question the nature of themselves. so the thing is even if this movie is a crap, do not relate it to something that is too complex to be summaries or to be compared to in a sentence.
…still poo in a jar to me…
